Friends, neighbors, scouts, volunteers! Tuckahoe Park needs a rescue from alien plant invaders. Join us every Third Saturday of the month to head out and remove some of these intruders from the park land. Help protect the trees and habitats of Tuckahoe Park. If you have your own garden gloves and tools, please bring them along. Some supplies will be provided. Be sure to come dressed for work, wear long pants, long sleeves, and perhaps a hat. You may also want to bring along a water bottle. Pre-registration is not required but suggested. Meet at the circle in front of Tuckahoe School (6550 N. 26th St. Arlington, VA 22213). The park site leader Mary will meet you there to give an orientation and tour of the work already done by Tuckahoe Elementary Students.
